“7 Hunters”
A fully rethemed 1974 Gottlieb “Big Indian.” The story of Muin and the seven bird hunters is a Mi’kmaq tribe story that recounts the moving of the Big Dipper constellation and the seasonal changes as it moves across the sky. The final 3 hunters, including the robin who wounds Muin the bear, are the last in the sky as the handle of the dipper. Muins blood falls from the sky changing the coloring of the fall leaves.
